Rentech Purchases Atikokan Renewable Fuels

There’s more American investment coming to Northwestern Ontario.
California based Rentech has purchased Atikokan Renewable Fuels from Thunder Bay’s Ed Fukushima.
Fukushima says he wasn’t able to get the necessary funding to run the plant and make wood pellets.
He notes the company’ plan is to continue with his dream of making wood pellets.
Rentech has also purchased and idled plant in Wawa, also to produce wood pellets
