The water treatment plant on the Wabaseemoong First Nation is back up and running again.
The water system shut down following an electrical malfunction yesterday.
As precaution some of the elderly were evacuated to Winnipeg, but repairs to the system have
been carried out much quicker than expected.
Initially, it was felt the water system wouldn’t be back on until Friday at the earliest.
Right now, the water tower is being filled and water service should be back to normal
in the community later today.
