Report Indicates Large Class Sizes Don’t Impact Student Performance

A Fraser Institute report indicates there’s no evidence to support that larger class sizes in high schools hurt student performance.

The organization looked at national test results.

The right-wing think tank says Quebec and Alberta schools with roughly 28 to 30 students per class outperform Ontario schools.

The Ford government did consider allowing an average of 28 students per class, only to settle on 22-and-a-half just before the start of the school year.
