Report on Water and Sewer Systems Released

A group of water experts believe aging water and sewer systems are in need of a
$34-billion cash injection.
A new report is out on water delivery systems and Director of
Engineering Brad Johns says he’s pleased to see a dollar amount provided.
The panel says Towns will likely be on the hook for future
construction costs something that can be overcome by amalgamating Municipal
systems.
The report calls for so-called “water clusters” that would see
Dryden handle operations in Ignace, Sioux Lookout, Pickle Lake and Machin.
