A new feature has been introduced by Hydro One that allows customers report power outages.
Alicia Sayers says you can now make a report by texting WATTS (92887).
Sayers says the new service will provide instant information on restoration status and times.
“We understand that our customers expect and want self-serve tools that are easy to use and we know outages disrupt life. That’s why we are providing customers with easy to use tools so they can stay up-to-date while our crews work to restore power.”
Sayers notes Hydro One is the first electricity provider in Ontario to introduce this kind of service.
