Report Released On Murdered and Missing Aboriginal Women

Canada’s history of colonization, inequality, and economic and social marginalization are being identified as the root causes of violence against native women.
That according to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, an arm of the Organization of American States.
It’s findings are based on a probe into the murders and disappearances of aboriginal women in British Columbia in 2012.
The report also backs calls for a nation-wide inquiry into the issue.
