Report Released on Northern Ontario

A group of Northern Ontario Mayors has come up with a new vision for the
Region.
The “Creating Our Future” document addresses challenges facing the
North and looks at strategies that deal with economic growth.
Dennis Brown is the President of the Northwestern Ontario Municipal
Association and he says the paper looks at specific issues and makes recommendations in
several areas, including jobs, education and identity.
Brown says the document will be sent to all Northern members of the
Provincial and Federal Governments.
