The Dryden Regional Health Centre is being asked to provide dialysis services.
A group of area residents say traveling to other communities for treatment causes a hardship because of the weather and road conditions and they claim lives are at risk as a result.
The cost of a dialysis machine is up to $35,000 plus additional capital costs.
Eagle Lake First Nation is prepared to donate $100,000 towards the project.
