The Kenora District Services Board believes the Ministry of Health is short-changing them for land ambulance service.
Chief Administrative Officer Sten Lif says the province is supposed to provide a contribution for residents in the unincorporated areas as well as an annual operating grant to provide the service.
Lif says as a result the KDSB will be short about $600,000 the way things stand now.
Lif says they have met with representatives from the province over the issue and are becoming increasingly frustrated with their lack of action.
