The City of Kenora has approved Rescue North’s business
licence.
The volunteer group can run an animal shelter in the
residential Keewatin neighbourhood, provided the facility is
soundproofed and enclosed.
Building Owner Stan Phinney says they’ll be examining
Winnipeg’s SPCA shelter, and building a similar enclosure.
