Residential School Program

Grand Council Treaty #3 has started up a program to help out survivors of the Indian Residential School system.
A support program has been set up which will help claimants and their families get access to financial and emotional support.
Two support workers will support survivors through various events and hearings surrounding the residential school system.
Treaty 3 says there are 24,000 former residential school students living in the area and says the new program will have the flexibility to meet the diverse needs of survivors.
