The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has declared a Restricted Fire Zone in the Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances Districts, the southern portions of Red Lake, Sioux Lookout Districts as well as the southern portion of Thunder Bay District excluding the City of Thunder Bay and surrounding incorporated municipalities.
The Restricted Fire Zone is in effect until further notice.
Outdoor fires are banned.
Portable gas stoves may still be used BUT must be handled with extreme care.
