Despite the recent damp conditions and cooler temperatures, the Ministry of Natural Resources is still not comfortable with lifting the Restricted Fire Zone in Northwestern Ontario.
The forecast is calling for higher temperatures and windy conditions, with some scattered showers.
The notice was put in place last Tuesday and will be reviewed on a day-by-day basis.
Meantime, another 100 Fire Rangers have been sent to B.C. to help battle the massive Okanagan Mountain Blaze.
Restricted Fire Zone Remains in Place
