A Japanese researcher says Grassy Narrows and White Dog First Nations are seeing more symptoms of mercury contamination.
The mercury came from the Reed Pulp Mill in Dryden, which stopped dumping the chemical into the water in 1970.
Dr. Masazumi Harada says mercury levels have dropped but people are still feeling the effects.
Native Leaders are calling for a public inquiry.
They also want more money, on top of the $17 million in compensation they received in 1985.
