The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says a new elementary school literacy program is already bearing fruit.
A literacy report has been presented to trustees and it shows results for student in Kindergarten through to grade eight.
Steven Roaf helped compile the data and says they are still working through all the information they have compiled in the past year.Roaf also adds they have seen an increase in reading and writing comprehension since they started up the literacy program.
