Revitalization Plans for 8 Communities

Patricia Area Community Endeavours is looking to improve the look of
8-communities in the Region.
The group is hoping to hire a Southern Ontario consultant who would
be conducting a 6-month revitalization study.
Community Development Coordinator Doug Pronger says are looking for funding support from the Province and FedNor.
Participating communities would be on the hook for 10% of the
costs.
Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Machin, Ignace, Pickle Lake, Wabigoon Lake First Nation, Eagle Lake First Nation and Lac Seul are all interested.
The consultant would look at a number of elements including facade improvements, signage and gateway’s
PACE is trying to launch the study in November.
