Campfires for cooking and staying warm at night are now allowed as a
Restricted Fire Zone has been lifted across Northwestern Ontario.
However, extreme caution is urged after 41,000 lightning strikes
were reported in the area Sunday evening.
Ministry of Natural Resources Information Officer Mitch Miller warns
conditions are still ripe for new forest fires.
