A new board of directors is being hired at Hydro One, including a new interim president.
Energy Minister Greg Rickford made that announcement yesterday.
He says one of their first jobs will be to develop a new compensation package for members of the Hydro One board of directors.
“We will be requiring the Hydro One board of directors to establish a completely new compensation framework for the board, CEO and other executives. This framework will require the express approval of cabinet.”
Rickford adds that the three new members of the Hydro One board have also been given the task of filling out the rest of their board of directors.
