Rickford Weighing PC Leadership Options

The provincial Conservatives have set a date for chosing a new leader for their party.

An electronic vote will be done on March 10th.

Greg Rickford is the PC candidate for Kenora-Rainy River and says he hasn’t made up his mind yet who he might support.

“I’m still, sort of, aborbing all the information here. Even today, I was in conversation with some prospective leaders. I’ll be honest, I’ve been fielding some calls from folks gauging my interest given my experience…and some folks offering to support what turns out to be a very expensive leadership campaign”.

Rickford goes on to say that he has no intention of seeking the party’s leadership, and would support someone like Christine Elliott, if she decides to throw her hat into the ring again.
