Ride For Hope 211

A group of people from Sandy Lake First Nations is riding across the country to raise awareness regarding drug abuse and to raise funds for an after-care center.
(third from left) Ida Fiddler and Meagan Anishinabie wear pink for the cause, as they continue to bike towards Ottawa. They began their ride in British Columbia on May 23 and were in Dryden Monday.
Fiddler is riding for her sister(2nd from left), and Anishinabie is riding for her sister who was not able to attend. Fidder says it is a challenge but they are willing to make sacrafices for their people who need treatment. It is unknown how much money has been raised so far, but Fiddler says donations are much appreciated. There is a facebook page dedicated to Ride for Hope 211, where people can check in on the journey.
