A group of local motorcycle enthusiasts will embark on a lenghty trip
across Northwestern Ontario this morning as part of the Ride for Sight.
The fundraiser is to help combat eye disease and loss of site.
Organizer Richard Carrol says 6 riders from this area are taking part.
Carrol says the Ride for Sight was started by 2-men
in Southern Ontario.
He adds the fundraiser started small and has now grown to a National Event.
Carrol says a number of fundraising activities are planned for
Saturday in Marathon before they head back home.
