River Walkway/Ross St. temporarily closing

There will be two closures for Dryden residents to be aware of.

Starting Tuesday, August 22, a section of the river walkway will be shut down for almost a month.

The city is making repairs to the walkway between Cooper Park and Duke Street.

The walkway is not expected to reopen until September 19.

Residents can use the Earl Avenue sidewalk as an alternate route.

Also on Tuesday, Ross Street, between Birch Avenue and McMillan Avenue, will be shut down from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The city says the closure is necessary to complete repairs to the water distribution system.

Anyone with questions or concerns about the closures can contact the Public Works office at 807-223-2367.
