Rod Aldoff Named Coach Of The ECHL Norfolk Admirals

A former coach of the year in the Superior International Junior Hockey League has been named the new head coach of the Norfolk Admirals of the East Coast Hockey League.

Rod Aldoff won three Bill Salonen Cup championships with the Wisconsin and Minnesota Wilderness from 2010 to 2013.

During his three seasons with the Wilderness, he amassed an impressive 145-15-8 record behind the bench.

The product of Lethbridge, Alberta also guided Team Canada West to a win a the Canadian Junior Hockey League Prospects tournament back in 2012.

After his time in the SIJHL, Aldoff spent the past three seasons as coach of the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the Southern Professional Hockey League and he captured two league titles there.

Norfolk serves as an affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers.
