ROF Report Receives Feedback

There’s some concern over the Northern Policy Institute’s report on the Ring of Fire.
Author Nick Mulder says he recently received a call from Minister of Northern Development and Mines Michael Gravelle.
He says the Minister felt his report was assuming Ontario was considering a crown corporation model which they are not.
Mulder’s paper is against the crown corporation model that he feels would see the Province foot the bill for infrastructure in the giant mining development.
The document favours a transportation authority model that would see stakeholders share the infrastructure costs.
