Role Model Program Launched

Grand Council Treaty #3 has launched a new project that recognizes positive initiatives and activities in First Nation communities.
Coordinator Stephanie Landon says the ‘role model’ project is a product of the Anishinaabe Achievers Committee and is an important tool in the growth of Treaty #3.
Landon says nomination forms have been sent to Treaty #3 communities.
Nominees will be recognized at a community sharing forum and awards gala in May.
Landon stresses the project is meant to benefit First Nation youth the most.
