Round 1 Voting Over…Time to Wait

The Federal Liberal Association in the Kenora riding is reporting a good turnout in the first round of balloting in Dryden over the weekend.
A major snow storm coupled with the ballot boxes arriving 20 minutes late didn’t deter almost 900 Liberal members from across the riding from voting.
Candidates Roger Valley, Bev Wexler and Charles Fox were all present and in high spirits.
A total of 2,029 members have been approved between the 3 candidates.
The sealed boxes are now in Toronto and will remain sealed until the last round of balloting in Kenora this coming Saturday.
At that point, we will now who will represent the party in the yet to be called Federal vote.
