The man instrumental in the Dryden Downtown Revitalization project as well as construction of the new suspension bridge has been honoured.
Council agreed Monday night to name the bridge after local buisnessman Roy Wilson.
Mayor Anne Krassilowsky says it’s a fitting tribute, considering the investment’s Wilson has made in our community.
Construction of the bridge is nearing completion, with a tentative opening scheduled for next month.
Some structural work remains and a set of stairs need to go in on the North side of the trail.
