Royal Canadian Legion Scam

Another scam has hit the Dryden area.
City Police say several elderly veterans have received phone calls asking for money to be donated to the Royal Canadian Legion.
Branch 63 of the Royal Canadian Legion in Dryden says they have no such fundraiser going on at this time and stress that they don’t call asking for donations.
Police are again reminding people not to give out any personal information over the phone, such as credit card, bank card PIN numbers, or social insurance numbers.
