Russell McDonald Finishes Second in RCL Championship

Cool weather and a significant drop in water levels didn’t stop a Dryden angler from a top 3 finish at the high profile Walmart RCL Walleye Championship in Moline, Illinois on the weekend.
Lund Pro Russell McDonald finished second in the event picking up a cheque worth $65,000.
McDonald caught 3 fish for 5 pounds and 6 ounces.
The winner took home $300,000, the largest first-place award in Walleye Tournament Fishing.
