A restructured SAAN has emerged from court protection and many of its stores are now reopening.
The company says its stores in Atikokan, Sioux Lookout, Thunder Bay and Red Lake are among 142 locations opening their doors again.
But many stores have closed permanently including locations in Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances.
However, the former Scott Street store has been taken over by “The Bargain Shop” and the new retailer is expected to open later this month.
