North Star Air has partnered with Sachigo Lake First Nation to build a new home for a family in need in the remote northern community.
A group of youth from Sachigo helped in the construction of the home.
The initiative is part of a revenue sharing agreement that also provides increased air transportation to the community, and greater economic activity.
Company spokesperson MaryEllen Thomas says they have provided more than $1-million to partner communities.
