It was a busy winter on the trails for Dryden Police forces.
OPP spent more than 125-hours conducting snow machine patrols from
January to April 1st.
Officers issued 59 warnings and laid 5-charges while investigating
3-collisions.
Constable Diane Harder says it was also the first year for the ‘Safe
Snowmobiling’ campaign.
Harder says sledders who obeyed the law had a chance to win a number of prizes.
Dryden Police and the Power Toboggan Club were other partners in the
initiative.
