Safeway Strike on the Horizon?

Safeway workers in Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances have all taken strike votes following recent contract talks with the company.
A spokesperson for the United Food and Commercial Workers Union says employees at all three stores have overwhelmingly voted for strike action.
No new talks are scheduled between the two sides.
The union says it is up to Safeway to decide what they want to do next.
So far, the UFCW has not yet set a strike date any stores.
Meantime, a strike by Safeway employees at three stores in Thunder Bay is now seven months old.
