Saints Ground Eagles In Boys Hockey

A lifeless effort from the Dryden Eagles Boys High School hockey team.
The Eagles couldn’t find their legs in a 6-1 loss to the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints in Kenora Thursday.
Co-Coach Darryl Mousseau says early penalty trouble killed them.
The Eagles gave up three powerplay goals early in the game.
Mousseau says his club will have to learn from their mistakes and put the game behind them.
Dryden doesn’t play a league game until January 24th, but will play in a Midget Tournament in Thunder Bay next weekend.
Trey Palermo scored the Eagles lone goal, while Brady Desserre was peppered with 57-shots in net.
