Andrea Horwath isn’t standing down in her fight to keep our hydro in public hands.
The provincial NDP leader is once again slamming the Liberal’s plan to sell-off Hydro One.
Horwath says the government is ignoring the 83% of Ontarians who want to stop the privatization, and is, instead, keeping them in the dark.
She says the Premier is refusing to provide any evidence to “back up her scheme”.
The government contends the plan was included in the Liberal budget and election platform.
Deputy Premier Deb Matthews notes they have brought in a former auditor general of Canada to oversee the process.
