The Municipality of Red Lake has come to a decision on its vacant Mayor’s position.
Councillor Sandy Middleton has been appointed Head of Council for the remainder of the Council term.
Middleton was confirmed at a special meeting this week.
He was appointed Deputy Mayor on December 15th, 2014 and has been acting in that capacity since that time.
Red Lake was left without a Mayor after the passing of Phil Vinet on June 5th.
