Sarah Campbell Continues Fight Against Privatization Plans

Kenora-Rainy River MPP Sarah Campbell is continuing to fight privatization plans by the Liberal government.
The province is looking at selling all or part of Hydro One and the LCBO.
When it comes to Hydro, Campbell says it will take money away from the province.
She notes as it stands now Hydro One is putting hundreds of millions of dollars into the provincial bank account every year.
Campbell adds hydro rates have increased by over 300% since the Harris Government began trying to privatize Hydro in the 90’s.
She says the Liberals and Conservatives voted against a motion allowing the public to vote against privatization plans.
