The Northwestern Health Unit will be distributing the
Province’s new HPV vaccination program to Grade 8 girls.
The McGuinty Government will be doling out 117 million
dollars over the next three years to vaccinate over 80
thousand young female teens.
Medical Officer of Health Dr. Pete Sarsfield says the
shot will help prevent many women from getting Cervical
Cancer.
