Monday marks the official end to the forest fire season and it was a
fairly busy year for the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Debbie McLean says things picked up after a rather dull 2004.

McLean says the MNR had some extreme fire behavior in the east part
of the Region, however notes thanks to crews initial attack they were able
to keep the amount of total area burned well below the 10-year average.
