Scam Alert

Provincial police are warning the public to be aware of a couple of scams that try to get people to provide personal information over the telephone or Internet.
Police say in a recent phone scam offering Bell Canada services at a reduced rate, the caller requests personal information about the person as well as credit card information.
An email fraud from an alleged financial institution requests personal information from the victim in order to get their account freed from a temporary suspension.
