Scam in Dryden Area

Area residents are urged to be aware of another scam.
A Dryden man notified City Police Monday that he received a letter in
the mail stating he had won a lottery.
The man also received a cheque to process the winnings however Police
say the cheque was fraudulant.
If the man had fallen for the scam, he would have been defrauded for
almost $5,000.
A reminder if it seems too good to be true, it probably is!
