Scam Resurfaces in Dryden

The grandchild scam is back in the Dryden area.
City Police received a call from a woman who was contacted by someone who claimed to be Jeremy Davis, a man calling on behalf of her grandson Ryan.
The caller told the woman that Ryan required $1,900 to get out of jail in Montreal.
The man had the woman’s complete name and had information about the family.
Fortunately, she didn’t send money and called Police.
