Scathing Report Released on New Thunder Bay Hospit

Health Minister George Smitherman says a report on the poorly planned construction of the Region’s largest Hospital contains valuable lessons.
The report outlines problems surrounding the building of the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
The facility cost nearly $284 million, about 58% more than the budget approved.
Smitherman says the Government is taking strides to make sure that kind of situation doesn’t happen again.
