Talks have concluded between the public school board and the Elementary Teachers Union.
The two sides have come to an agreement in the terms and conditions of employment for teachers joining the KP Board from three former District School Authorities.
Both parties believe groundwork has been laid to provide a smooth transition through to the next round of negotiations in 2012.
No further details will be released pending ratification.
The parties intend to ratify the
settlements over the course of the next few weeks.
