The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is hoping to pass its 2005/2006 budget in the next week or so.
The finance committee will meet one more time this evening to review the budget, and then a date will be set for the trustees to pass it.
Superintendant of Business, Dean Carrie says they are aiming to present the budget at a special meeting on August 16th, but may have to re-schedule the meeting if they can’t get enough trustees together for a quorum.
Carrie says they are required to pass the budget before the end of the month.
