School Board Chastises Hampton

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has publically chastised Kenora-Rainy River M-P-P Howard Hampton.
The board criticized comments Hampton made last week about the strike by 250 education support staff.
The board debated at length whether they should address what he said.
Hampton suggested the board was to blame for the nearly six-week-old labour disruption.
Trustees accused Hampton of playing politics and providing a simple-minded analysis of a complicated situation.
The board considered writing a letter of complaint but in the end decided not to engage in a war of words with the N-D-P Leader.
