The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is getting $75,000 from the Province to subsidize the use of schools by local
community groups.
Superintendent of Business Dean Carrie says the money will help the
Board pay for custodial service when groups rent out gyms, classrooms and
libraries.
The funding is part of a Liberal Government strategy to make schools
more available to non-profit groups.
