The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is predicting a drop in student numbers next year.
The Board is out with enrollment projections for next school year
The public board estimates that overall student numbers will fall by about 100.
The largest decline will be felt at the secondary level, where enrollment is forecast to drop by 86 students next year.
Elementary numbers are expected to drop by just 20 students.
Director of Education Sean Monteith says there is some good news.
Monteith says incoming kindergarten numbers are so big, they will be replacing the outgoing grade 12 numbers.
