The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is preparing for a
possible strike involving Canadian Union of Public Employees members.
The job action would impact custodial and maintenance staff at
schools across the District.
Director of Education Janet Wilkenson says they have a plan in place
in the event of a strike.
Wilkenson says Senior Staff will be in daily contact with Principals
to ensure operations are running smoothly.
Wilkenson says they will continue to provide a healthy environment for
students in the event of a strike.
