School Board Stuff

The Rainy-River District School Board hopes the Province won’t forget about the North when it unveils the budget.
Director of Education Warren Hoshizacki says key areas such as transportation should be addressed next month.
Hoshizacki says Board Officials will have an opportunity to meet with politicians from the North next week to discuss their concerns.
Meantime, the Board has drafted a roadmap.
Officials recently gathered input from School Councils and other stakeholders to plan for the future.
Hoshizacki was pleased with recent turnouts at sessions held in several communities including Atikokan.
Among the recommendations; new facilities, schools to be handicapped accessible and better communication through the media.
